How to Become a Chapter of Hearts for Heat.


Hearts for Heat was founded by Cindy Shea.

Cindy has a social work and teaching background, and a passion for helping those in need. In 2007 Cindy was invited to the State House to be recognized as a "Massachusetts State Heroine" for her work with Hearts for Heat.

She has received awards by the Massachusetts Senate, House of Representatives, the Governor. and from the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce. Cindy has appeared on local access television and has been featured in area newspapers multiple times. She has been instrumental in establishing chapters of Hearts for Heat in several towns in Worcester County.

Cindy is a mother of 3 and a grandmother. She and her husband, Deric, have lived in Princeton since 1986.
